About

Gabriela Ayres is a composer and thinker shaped by the tension between light and shadow.

Her music emerges from silence, memory, and the emotional depth of those who have lived more than they speak. Working across ambient, cinematic and dark neoclassical forms, she builds soundscapes that carry grief, clarity and presence.

She is also the author of Unseen Layer, where she writes about modernity, human fragility, lucid pain, and the subterranean forces that move us.

LAMENT DEPTHS

Dark Ambient • Neoclassical

Atmospheres built from low-light piano, deep drones and neoclassical tension.
Music for introspection, night silence and emotional presence.

CHANDRAMARIA

Cinematic • World Ambient

Cinematic world-ambient built from airy pads, handpan resonance and organic textures.
Music shaped for focus, calm states and open landscapes.

Unseen Layer is where I explore the deeper structures of modern life — the quiet intersections between human fragility, clarity and the forces that shape our inner world.
It is a space for essays that move through lucid pain, memory, subtle emotion and the psychological and existential pressures of contemporary existence.

Through a blend of philosophy, observation and lived experience, I write about the invisible mechanisms that guide us: technology, trauma, identity, grief, and the silent architecture of thought.
Unseen Layer seeks to reveal what lies beneath perception — the places where consciousness becomes both wound and insight.
